Here at Parker Construction, we continue to evaluate new technology and processes to ensure we provide our clients with the most effective and efficient recovery and restoration services possible.

Our commitment to quality and our clear policies and procedures enable us to provide decontamination of a wide variety of electronic equipment and systems without harming the internal circuitry.

Time is of the Essence

Successful restoration of damaged electronic equipment or systems requires a quick response. That's why it's so important to call in the experts right away to evaluate the type and extent of the damage and to plan and implement the appropriate recovery procedures to ensure a successful restoration.

Evaluate, Plan & Restore

Although every situation is unique, there are specific steps that must be followed in order to achieve a successful restoration of electronic equipment or systems that have been damaged by fire, smoke, soot or water.

Electronic restoration is required when corrosion occurs as a result of fire, smoke and water damage. When electronic items are damaged by water, corrosion begins almost immediately. Fire and Smoke damage results in corrosion due to its associated acidic or corrosive residue.

Many kinds of electronic equipment and/or systems can be restored successfully including:
  • Computers
  • Computer Servers and Network Gear
  • Telephone Systems
  • Control Centres
  • Office Machines
  • Medical Equipment
  • Televisions
  • Home Theatre Components
  • Food Processing Equipment
  • Manufacturing Equipment
  • Laboratory Equipment
  • Printers and Printing Equipment
Evaluate - The first and most important part of the fire restoration process is the damage assessment phase. Our trained professionals know exactly what to look for and will immediately determine the type and extent of damage to your electronic equipment and/or systems. They will identify the equipment by its brand, model number and serial number and will note the kind of damage and its severity. They will also determine whether the cost to restore the equipment compares favourably with the cost to replace it. If not, replacement will be recommended.

There are many cleaning and restoration processes from which to choose and properly identifying the exact type of damage and its extent is a crucial first step. It's essential that the damage assessment be conducted by a trained technician so that the most appropriate treatment will be used in order to achieve the best results

Plan - Once a determination has been made concerning the type and extent of damage we'll select the most appropriate restoration process to ensure a satisfactory result. We use a number of chemical agents and restorative technologies and determining the most appropriate one for each circumstance is very important.

Restore - The ability to provide reliable restoration of electronic equipment and systems is a relatively new use for some mature technologies. One of those is the use of ultrasonics. Although ultrasonic cleaning has been used in an industrial capacity for years, it is relative new for the fire, smoke, soot and water damage restoration service business. Following years of research and experimentation by ultrasonics manufacturers this process has evolved to the point that it is now recognized as a reliable restoration process for a wide variety of items that have been damaged by fire, smoke, soot or water.

Training and Certification

In order to provide superior electronics restoration services, our professionals undergo rigorous training to keep up with the most current and effective restoration techniques. All of our employees in the electronics restoration division, along with our field technicians, are required to attend and complete Level I and II Certifications of the Asset Recovery Technology Electronics Restoration courses.
